This
outstanding
model was developed using Shigeru Nohara drawings to maintain
strict scale accuracy. It uses NACA 2416 airfoil at the
root converging to a NACA 2411 at the tip.
The A model can be easily converted to the F/G variant
Construction: Fiberglass
fuselage with detachable cowl and a built up wing and stabilizer
allow for a fast completion of this complex airplane. Literally
savings months of building. All the hard work is done for the builder. The formers and
firewall are laser cut and ready to install after general sanding.
All panel lines and hatches
are molded into the high quality fiberglass!
Wing: A light but strong
wing using laser cut Lite ply and balsa parts. The Sub leading
edge and rear spar are slotted to provide the correct separation
between ribs. A box center section allows a split wing for storage
and shipping.
The Horizontal Stabilizer is
also built up from balsa laser cut parts that have correct fit.
Ailerons, Flaps, Elevators a Rudder are built from laser cut parts
with the correct shaped lighting holes. These parts require to be
covered with fabric type film, to be scale and light.
Wing designed around
Sierra Giant scale retractable landing gear.
Wood kit is all laser cut with
well
over 350 exact fitting parts. Pictures show built control
surfaces with kit parts. Ply firewall included.
